"Two from Provincetown"
go to Ireland!

CTEK Arts is taking “Two From Provincetown” to the international stage! “Two From Provincetown: A Shining Attribute and What To Throw Out” has been invited to participate in the International Dublin Gay Theater Festival 2014 (www.gaytheatre.ie). The plays will run for seven performances, May 12 – 17, The playwrights, cast and director will represent Provincetown, Massachusetts, New York City, and Austin, Texas.
“Two From Provincetown” will be a brilliant evening of one-act plays. “A Shining Attribute” by Candyce Rusk, directed by Dana McCoy, and starring Sarah MacDonnell in her one-woman tour-de-force as Bijou, a burlesque queen with a thorny past in Boston and Provincetown. Kathleen Warnock’s “What To Throw Out”, directed by Margaret Van Sant, will feature Sarah MacDonnell and Dana McCoy in a two-hander about stripping things to their essence, and finding what lies beneath.
Both shows have deep roots in Provincetown, the birthplace of modern American theater. "A Shining Attribute” debuted in the first Women’s International Theater Festival (WITF) in 2010, returning to acclaim during the 2013 WITF Festival. “What To Throw Out” premiered in the 2013 Fall Provincetown Playwrights Festival. Kathleen Warnock’s plays are a hit in Dublin and this is her fifth invited presentation at the Festival.
Of course there is an Indiegogo campaign. It's here, and your contribution would be deeply appreciated.
